About The Player ☆ In my Twenties ☆ Been RPing for 6 years. ☆ Live in Pacific Standard Time (West Coast) ☆ I work in retail so hours vary. ☆ AIM // *ask*
About My Writing☆ Third person storybook. Plain and simple. No asterisks or any other funky markings please. ☆ Get what I'm given. If you give me three sentences I'll give you at least three back, if you give me three paragraphs I'll try to give three back. I am a firm believe in giving back close to what I get if I can. ☆ Quality over quantity. Over my years of writing I have learned that you can get more from a one paragraph response than a fives paragraph response. That being said one liners won't get you anywhere with me unless it's a time that calls for one, which are positively rare. ☆ Male vs Female. When it comes to playing male or female characters I will play both, however I would prefer playing a male for someone who is willing to play one for me back. Give and take. I prefer playing the female role but so long as I'm not swamped down with male voices I usually won't hesitate to pick up a guy. ☆ PB Only. Due to the fact that I am highly uncomfortable trying to capture someone that is real and walking around I almost never Celeb Role Play. I also don't do fandoms (IE: Harry Potter, House, anything that already has thoroughly established characters) since I never feel I can capture their greatness to the original writers standards. It is much easier for me to portray a character I create than one someone else did. ☆ No Slash. Please don't ask. I've tried it once and it just wasn't for me. At this time there is absolutely no chance of me changing my mind on that. Het and Femme are the areas that I am comfortable with so please remember that. ☆ Sex Scenes. I am a big fan of writing sex scenes out due to the fact that sex is a big part of life. Some of the best things that have happened to my characters have been during sex, and also some of the worst. Major character development can also come from these scenes. I know that some people don't feel the same and that's perfectly fine with me. ☆ Threading & AIM. I will do both, but I do prefer journals over AIM. I am always on AIM but it doesn't mean I am capable of RPing it via that time. Sometimes, with working from home, responding to you via comments is much easier and faster than it will be in AIM. Then there are other times where I am more than happy to thread via AIM, so really, both are <3 in my book. Please don't depend on the line being strictly AIM though, because you'll only let us both down. Plotting via AIM is always encouraged and welcomed. ☆ Long Term vs Short Term. I do have a penchant for long term lines, if I start something I like seeing it through to the end, or until the muses die out. I will however do short lines so long as they're is something good behind it, often times I get bored and no one is online and will be more than happy to do a one shot. ☆ Line Drama. My lines MUST have some sort of drama in it. When people are shitting out butterflies everyday I tend to get bored and lost interest quickly. My characters fight with people, they disagree, and they tend to have minds of their own so if you can't handle that than I'm sorry, I'm not the writing partner for you. That isn't to say I'm against fluff, I'm not, I just need some form of spice in it. ☆ Storylines. I will play lines on both end of the spectrum from fluff to darker and more taboo lines. As far as idea go there aren't any situations that I am squeamish about so feel free to throw them at me or look at my storyline idea entry to get a feel. You can also IM me to ask, the worst I can say is no, and then I'll probably offer you another type of line instead. |
